ABOUT GIVE & TAKE
Give & Take was opened in April 2012 to provide an exchange forum for both buyers and sellers of unique, high-quality vintage furniture and objects. Furniture is showcased in a way to maximize its beauty and provide buyers with a unique perspective on how to utilize various items to create beautiful living spaces. Consignors are encouraged with the emphasis on presentation to highlight standout pieces.
Give & Take welcomes working with designers who are looking for unique pieces of furniture for their customers, who wish to consign items they have accumulated over the years as well as provide a consignment resource for their clients.
Give & Take also showcases art and provides a selection of artworks; both consigned and sold directly by artists. Many art collectors’ taste grows over time, just as with furnishings. Give & Take is there to provide a high-quality, carefully edited exchange forum for both for buyers and sellers of art.
Give & Take showcases pieces from all periods - modern classic, mid-century modern, and select antiques. Furniture lines we carry include Donghia, Knoll, Nancy Corzine, Hickory, Baker, Heritage, Fritz Hansen, Hove Mobler. Artwork showcased includes Jere, Kathryn Bernhardt, Jim Wagner and Harold Baumbach among others.

Jean Nelson started Give & Take as a life-long passion and a love for art and beautiful pieces of furniture. Jean has studied art history and interior design as an avocation and elected to make Give & Take her vocation following a successful career as a corporate finance professional. Jean is a Dallas resident of over 12 years and considers Dallas her adopted home.
