HOW TO CONSIGN

CONSIGNMENT GUIDELINES

Consignment items must be pre-approved. Please email photos or bring in to the store. If you have a large number of items, we are happy to come visit with you at the items’ location. The below information is helpful in helping us evaluate your consignment items:

1) Photo in jpeg file format
2) Details of marks/signatures on item
3) Note damage or repairs needed
4) Item measurements
5) Manufacturer
6) Age of piece

Pricing
Consignment is a partnership and our goal is to make you feel satisfied. Thus we will work with you to set a price for your item(s). It is in everyone’s interest to set prices at a fair market value that will allow you to receive your proceeds in a reasonable period of time. We consider this to be 4 -6 weeks. We will not adjust pricing unless we discuss with you in advance. Prices must be agreed upon between the Seller and Give & Take within 48 hours of receiving goods; if not, Give & Take will determine the selling price.

Consignment
Our standard consignment period is a minimum of 90 days with a 50/50 payout. Checks will be sent out on the 15th day of the following month that the item was sold. We sometimes allow merchandise out for approval. Please let us know if this IS NOT acceptable to you.

Buying Items Outright
We do buy items outright. Please contact us for further information.

Repair Services
We offer repair, cleaning, refinishing, and upholstery services. Everything is sold in an “AS IS” condition. All items are priced to reflect the item’s condition. It is to your benefit to enhance the overall look of your items before you consign them so please ask us if you interested in any of these services to help maximize the value of your merchandise.

Delivery Services
We offer pick-up services, so please ask us if this service is required.

• Lighting, chandeliers, sconces, hanging, floor and table lamps
• Pottery, ceramic pieces

Art
• Prints, original and signed
• Original paintings
• Photographs, signed
